BARNECHE DESIGN, STEPHANIE BARNES STUDIO & THE COTTAGE AT BARNECHE
are Catskill enchantments for the house, body and soul. Inspired by the air, light, water and wood of the
Catskill Mountains, Barneche Design is a place where artistry, whimsy and skilled craftsmanship combine.
Designer Stephanie Barnes has an affinity for the beautiful and the vintage -- recycling, reclaiming and
reusing textiles, wood, glass and other materials to make one-of-a-kind home furnishings, lighting and
wearable art. In October 2011, the shop and studio moved just next door to the main house, the former
1890's Chichester Hotel, in the heart of New York State's Catskill Park. This unique shop features an
incredible array of artful handmade clothing, girls' dresses, hats, bags, scarves, dog coats, elegant barn
wood and architectural furnishings, home decor, antique lighting, handmade custom lampshades, artisan and
vintage jewelry, collectibles, ephemera, and much more.

THE COTTAGE AT BARNECHE; DOG FRIENDLY, VACATION RENTAL is in a 100
year old barn, a bit crooked, a bit whimsical and sits on 1 1/2 acres of charming, landscaped and wooded land.
It is surrounded on three sides by the picturesque Stony Clove creek. |
